A combination of two potent herbs with a dual action on the nervous system and mental cognition. In Ayurvedic medicine Ashwaghanda is primarily used as a strengthening tonic; to ground and relax people with anxiety, stress, over-thinking and insomnia; and to boost the immune system and enhance libido.
Gotukola is used traditionally to strengthen mental function and clarity. It may be beneficial for the nerves and mind. It has been shown to have a beneficial effect on the skin and joints where these are affected by inflammation and associated conditions.
Contraindications: Caution in Pregnancy
Safety: Not to be used with Benzodiazepines or barbituates. Caution with hypo-glycaemic and cholesterol lowering medication. Ashwaghanda may have theoretical interactions with immunosuppressant, thyroid and sedative medications.
