Our Vision

To radically improve global health and wellbeing through the vehicle of business

Why Business is the answer to the Global Wellbeing Crisis

We are facing a global wellbeing epidemic on a scale never before seen: Burnout, Mental Exhaustion, Loneliness, The Great Resignation and Chronic health conditions are devastating in impact personally, professionally and economically. Conservative estimates have put the productivity costs of chronic disease alone in the billions of dollars.

But did you know that 80% of these issues are driven by lifestyle factors that can be avoided?

The importance of Work

Today we see workplaces as part of the problem as Jeffrey Peffer wrote in his book, ‘Dying for a Paycheck’.

But they also represent the solution.

The Corporate sector employs millions of people. Millions of people with families, friends and communities around them.

Collectively, corporate business has the potential to transform the health of humanity on a global scale – but only if there is alignment between the needs of the organisation and those of its people.

But they also represent the solution.

The Corporate sector employs millions of people. Millions of people with families, friends and communities around them.

Collectively, corporate business has the potential to transform the health of humanity on a global scale. It is recognised that people spend a full one third of their lives engaged in ‘work’ and accordingly, positive change occurring in this sphere of our existence has an enormous impact on our overall wellbeing – and by extension, the wellbeing of our families and extended communities too.

How we can Help?

Our Services

Traditional approaches to workplace wellbeing are falling short of the mark in terms of genuinely impacting the happiness of employees. At best, a series of well-intentioned but generic tactics leads to short-term spikes in reported wellbeing engagement scores, but they fail to uncover and address the true underlying issues impacting day-to-day stress levels of your team leading to sustained improvement, or to create the cultural shifts needed within the organisation to see wellbeing as a strategic priority.

To truly transform the lives of your people and positively impact the bottom line of the business, your workplace wellbeing strategy must:
  • Be sponsored from the very top of the organisation
  • Seek to align your people and initiatives with the higher purpose of the business helping to strengthen it within
  • Create a shared identity-forming narrative and associated employee experience that build real community
  • Take a holistic view of your people, processes and environment to uncover true insights and opportunities

Tactics to Strategy

  1. Gather data – we’ll use The Medicine Man Discovery tools to unearth the truth through a combination of quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  2. Gain insight – we’ll triangulate the different data sets to deliver unique insight on the risks, the challenges and the opportunities.
  3. Create the Strategy – following agreement on the Strategic Starting Point, we’ll build your Wellbeing Strategy from the inside out using Community Sector principles – Consult, Collaborate and Co-Desgn, to maximise impact and engagement.
  4. Communicate the Strategy – critical to the success any Workplace Wellbeing Strategy is the accompanying Communications Plan. Drawing upon decades of experience in this space, we will co-create a 12 month Communications and Engagement Plan to ensure your entire team are fully engaged by taking them on the journey.

1. Brand purpose

Aligning your people and initiatives with the higher purpose and nature of your business
